FAQ

How We Work With You

We take the time to truly get to know you — not just your resume, but your personality, strengths, communication style, and long-term goals. Our goal is not to place you quickly, but to place you well.

From interview preparation and background screening through contract coordination and onboarding, we guide you through each step of the process. Even after placement, we remain available as a resource, because your success and comfort matter to us.

Is there a fee to be represented by Aviah?

No — there is never a fee for candidates to work with us. We believe your experience, time, and professionalism deserve respect, and you should never have to pay to access quality opportunities. Our role is to advocate for you and connect you with families who value your work.

How long does the placement process take?

Every placement timeline is different because we prioritize alignment over urgency. Some candidates are matched quickly when the right opportunity is available, while others may take a little longer as we wait for a role that truly fits your strengths, schedule, and long-term goals. We will always communicate openly with you throughout the process so you are never left wondering where things stand.

What happens if a placement does not feel like the right fit?

While we work carefully to ensure strong alignment from the beginning, we understand that not every placement unfolds exactly as expected. If concerns arise, we encourage open communication and will step in to help navigate next steps thoughtfully and professionally. Our priority is to protect both your well-being and the integrity of the household, working toward a solution that feels respectful and fair for everyone involved.

Initial Conversation

We begin with a genuine one-on-one conversation to learn more about you — your experience, strengths, personality, and the type of household where you thrive. This is your space to share your goals, expectations, and what you’re looking for in your next role. We believe strong placements start with understanding the person behind the resume.

Structured Screening

After our initial conversation, qualified candidates move forward in our structured screening process. This includes a detailed interview with our team, reference verification, and a comprehensive background screening through eNannySource. We take this step seriously to protect both you and the families we serve.

Thoughtful Matching

We do not send candidates out blindly or rush introductions. Every opportunity we present is carefully selected based on your experience, availability, compensation expectations, and personal comfort. Our goal is alignment — not urgency.
